bought a kuiper 1411 laptop with T3400 intel processor, 2gig ram & 256Mb dedicated graphics from suzuki last march ITY show for only 950 with freebies! Still works fine up to now.Only thing though it the adaptor gets quite hot when i use continuosly.They assured me its normal but compared to my centrino duo its really very hot.Mounted a heat sink w/ fan on it just to make sure. Service Rep relies quickly to inquiries.

I will not visit PC shows in the first few days anymore in fututre. Lenovo S10-2 prices can just drop by more than SGD 140 and worst of all the gifts they offering is far more than the first 3 days free gifts. Not a reliable brand to buy too early!!!

Yep have to agree, prices moved down so much on the final day, i bought a S10-2 as well, don't think i will consider buying it so early ever again. Hope that Lenovo can keep to their promise on delivering a quality product at the most competitve price possible in future rather then slashing on the final day. 759 to 599, thats a 160dollars difference, severely disappointed in the way Lenonvo does its business.

Same price for the Toshiba Hard Drive also last IT Show 2009.. But anyway, I am satisfied with their products. However, no discount for this PC Show. Was hoping to get one again. :)

Those intending to buy the Lenovo S10 (NOT S10-2),
Please be really careful. There are 2 versions of the S10.
First Type ------- vs -------- 2nd Type
10.2" Screen------------------10.1" Screen
Antiglare TFT ---------------- Glossy TFT
1024x600 resolution ------- 1024x576 resolution

The "first type" is similar to US Version. (which is better specs)
The 2nd Type is most common in S'pore, which is a "cut-cost" version. (which SHOULD be the version they are selling)
Easiest way to tell them apart is to check the resolution.
(ie. 1024 x 600 vs 1024 x 576)

(Which explains why the US version is more expensive, cos it comes with a better screen and a bigger screen size)

(Note: Lenovo S10-2 only comes with 2nd Type specs)

SanDisk is quite crap, advertised 8G memory stick mark 2 ultra @$57 as STAR BUY, they don't even have a single piece of stock!
