I have purchased Ovation hard (External, 320 GB) with 5 year warranty. Do i need to go through registration on line to get warranty. If yes how can i do that?

I have a 1TB Ovation External Hard Drive - about 3 months old. The Hard Drive inside the casing is Western Digital.
It has a built in fan, which has started to sound like a meat grinder, i.e. loud, and irritating. It obviously needs to be repaired/replaced.
Can anyone please tell me who manufactures Ovation and whether there is a Singapore company I can talk to. I stupidly threw away the box and all of the papers after it worked fine for a month! Thank you. Brian
